Carboor Harvest Hazelnut Butter is hand made in small batches using the best available Barcelona variety hazelnuts from our own farm and those of our grower partners around Australia. The hazelnuts are lightly dry roasted (no oil) at a low temperature to preserve the high nutritional value of the nuts but reduce the moisture levels and free the natural oils. Following roasting, the nuts are allowed to cool and excess skin is removed before running through our paste machine and immediately packed.
The 250g variant is packed in a glass jar and the 1kg variant is packed in a plastic pail.

All hazelnuts are cracked at our cracking facility in East Wangaratta.
Carboor Harvest Hazelnut Butter is delicious healthy alternative to peanut butter, or the famous chocolate hazelnut spread. Spread on toast or pancakes, add to protein balls, smoothies or use as a base for homemade ice cream.
STIR WELL BEFORE USE: Contains no thickeners, so the oil does naturally separate and accumulate on the top – simply stir back in to get the delicious creamy texture back.
This product contains tree nuts and is made/packed on equipment that also packs other tree nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, pecans, walnuts, pistachios, macadamias) and peanuts. We use best practice cleaning procedures but cannot guarantee the absence of any allergen.
This product should be stored in the original packaging or alternative airtight container in a cool, dark place. It is possible, but not necessary to refrigerate to extend shelf life.
When stored in accordance with the Recommended Storage practices identified above, this product has a shelf life of 12 months. It is marked with a batch number and “Best Before” date for consumers reference. The product should be consumed within 3 months of opening.
