Carboor Harvest Chilli Dukkah is a spicy take on the traditional Egyptian spice mix with hazelnuts. It is hand made in small batches using the best available Australian hazelnuts (from our own farm and those of our grower partners). These nuts are lightly roasted and coarsely ground before mixing with the best spices. The nuts and spices are left coarse to achieve a nice crunchy texture.
Each batch is rigorously quality tested with hazelnut oil and ciabatta on a Saturday afternoon after a long farmers market.
This product is packed in a glass jar.
Lovingly made in Victoria with all Australian nuts (80% hazelnuts), coriander seed, cumin seed, coriander powder, cumin powder, thyme, sesame seed, lemon pepper, chilli pepper, chilli powder, black pepper, pink salt.
Carboor Harvest dukkah is used to provide a delicious crunchy finishing spice to steak or salmon, sprinkled over roast vegetables or poached eggs. Dunk your favourite ciabatta bread in hazelnut oil and Carboor Harvest dukkah as a Saturday afternoon snack. Can also be mixed with panko breadcrumbs for a flavour packed coating for home made fried chicken.
This product contains tree nuts and is made/packed on equipment that also packs other tree nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, pecans, walnuts, pistachios, macadamias) and peanuts. We use best practice cleaning procedures but cannot guarantee the absence of any allergen.
This product should be stored in the original packaging or alternative airtight container in a cool, dark place.
When stored in accordance with the Recommended Storage practices identified above, this product has a shelf life of 12 months. It is marked with a batch number and “Best Before” date for consumers reference. The product should be consumed within 3 months of opening.
