Carboor Harvest Almond Butter with Cacao Chocolate is hand made in small batches using the best available Australian grown almonds, organic coconut sugar and organic cacao. The almonds are lightly dry roasted (no oil) at a low temperature to preserve the high nutritional value of the nuts but reduce the moisture levels and free the natural oils. Following roasting, the nuts are allowed to cool before running through our paste machine and thoroughly mixed with the other ingredients. It is packed immediately.
By using cacao and coconut sugar, Almond Butter with Cacao Chocolate is not overly sweet and suits a mature palette.
The 250g variant is packed in a glass jar and the 1kg variant is packed in a plastic pail.
75% lightly roasted best quality Australian grown almonds, 10% organic coconut and 15% organic cacao.
We use only Brightlight, Almondco or Riverland almonds.
Carboor Harvest Almond Butter with Cacao Chocolate is delicious healthy alternative to peanut butter, or the famous chocolate hazelnut spread. Spread on toast or drizzle on pancakes, add to protein balls, smoothies or use as a base for homemade ice cream.
STIR WELL BEFORE USE: Contains no thickeners, so the oil does naturally separate and accumulate on the top – simply stir back in to get the delicious creamy texture back.
This product contains tree nuts and is made/packed on equipment that also packs other tree nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, pecans, walnuts, pistachios, macadamias) and peanuts. We use best practice cleaning procedures but cannot guarantee the absence of any allergen.
This product should be stored in the original packaging or alternative airtight container in a cool, dark place. It is possible, but not necessary to refrigerate to extend shelf life.
When stored in accordance with the Recommended Storage practices identified above, this product has a shelf life of 12 months. It is marked with a batch number and “Best Before” date for consumers reference. The product should be consumed within 3 months of opening.
